BONNIE TAYLOR
Bonnie is a queer, female animation director. Her personal work has been screened internationally and garnered numerous awards and nominations, including a nomination for best short animated film at the AACTA’s.
Her dynamic use of colour and kaleidoscopic animation style always creates incredible imagery and stand–out films. She has a knack of creating snappy, surprising bursts of animation in a range of styles and loves playing with creative camera transitions.
Outside of animation Bonnie is a passionate feminist, skier and environmentalist. Her interests often intersect with her work – both in the content and the teams she builds. “I want to continue to invite marginalised people into the animated space not only represented on screen, but behind it as well. And I want to continue to make work that speaks to young women while being fun, fresh and above all – loud!”
