BEL HOLBOROW
Bel is a 2D Animator and Illustrator based in Sydney, Australia.
Graduate of Bachelor of Design in Animation with Honours and a Diploma of Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney, Bel’s work is vibrant, colourful and lively.
Co-director of animated short film ‘Off the Rails’, nominated for the Yoram Gross Prize for Animation at 2021 Sydney Film Festival and was also screened at Flickerfest, Moscow Shorts and ANNY: Animation Nights New York.
Bel’s illustrations are dynamic and unique, with a familiar visual flavour of the 00’s cartoons she grew up watching. Bel loves drawing women in all shapes and sizes and uses her passion for character design and VFX animation to help bring female characters to life.
